Job summary

Rural King is seeking a Maintenance Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized store environment. The role supports routine cleaning, basic repairs, safety, and upkeep of the store and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms and fixtures, operating a floor scrubber, unloading trucks, stocking, and helping customers and associates. Competitive pay and benefits are provided with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the store and surrounding areas; operate a floor scrubber; restock supplies.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs (light bulbs, minor plumbing, fixtures).
• Identify and report safety hazards and maintenance needs.
