Berlin City Toyota in Portland, ME is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Associate to keep our dealership clean, safe and welcoming. This full-time role offers a competitive pay scale from $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, plus a robust benefits package and a flexible schedule.

You will perform routine maintenance, inspections, coordinate contractors, manage supplies, and ensure compliance with safety standards, contributing to a positive customer and employee environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in facilities or general maintenance preferred, ideally in a commercial or dealership setting.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, painting, basic electrical work, HVAC support, and landscaping.
• Conduct regular inspections of the building, service bays, equipment, and grounds to identify and address potential issues.
• Coordinate and oversee vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs or services.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the common areas, restrooms, employee spaces, and exterior property.
• Respond to maintenance requests from all departments in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal upkeep.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies and order replacements as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership standards.

Position Overview:

A Facilities Maintenance Associate supports the overall cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our automotive dealership. This hands-on role is vital in keeping our facilities in excellent condition and ensuring a welcoming environment for both customers and employees. This position is full-time, Monday- Friday.
