Job summary

Landmark Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe and comfortable for residents. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with repairs, and support daily operations under the Maintenance Supervisor.

Ideal candidates have experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, and essential equipment, plus a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators.
• Understanding preventive maintenance basics.
• Clear communication and teamwork with a safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
