Metropolitan Market, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Helper Clerk to keep store interiors and exteriors clean and in good repair. You will balance routine tasks with urgent guest needs and assist customers and team members to ensure a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes self-motivation, initiative, and strong time management within a fast-paced store setting. Lifting up to 50 pounds, ladder use, and a WA driver's license are required for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be self-motivated, able to problem solve, and work well in a diverse team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills; basic health/sanitation knowledge.
• MSDS experience preferred; knowledge of food safety and HACCP guidelines is desirable.
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and hold a WA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and maintenance for interior and exterior areas of the store and grounds.
• Assist with maintaining interior/exterior areas, including equipment and fixtures.
• Provide excellent customer service, help customers find products and assist team members.
• Prevent internal and external loss.
