Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to keep the store floors, seating areas, restrooms, and back offices clean and safe. You will perform tasks on daily/weekly maintenance lists, support cleaning projects, and assist with minor repairs while upholding store standards and safety policies.

Hours may vary with a flexible schedule; previous experience is not required, and the role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on the daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports all teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplies required for store maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Maintains the store’s landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
