Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Helper to support daily upkeep of the facility's buildings and grounds. The role performs routine cleaning, maintains equipment, and assists with minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting tasks under supervision, contributing to safety and smooth operations. Overtime is voluntary when available.

Day shift, Monday–Friday 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with potential weekend coverage.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1 year of relevant manufacturing experience required.
Ability to understand and follow procedures.
Ability to operate routine cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

Performs daily routine cleaning and waste removal service for shop floor/maintenance as necessary.
Maintains equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.
Assists Maintenance Tech with their tasks under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor.
Assists ordering and maintaining spare parts inventory.
Performs minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting as needed to maintain facilities.
Maintains a safe and effective work area and environment with appropriate PPE and safety equipment.
Monitors building premises to ensure occupant or visitor safety – clears sidewalks of snow.
Cleans building walls, flooring, equipment, or other 5S areas.
Supports the Facilities function as needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
