Job summary

Training on grit blasting equipment is available for applicable tasks. The ideal candidate brings warehouse experience, knowledge of safety protocols, and the ability to work across departments

Responsibilities

• Organize and categorize inventory on shelves, racks, or bins using product codes, styles, colors, or sizes.
• Keep storage zones tidy and well-stocked with supplies.
• Perform regular stock audits using digital tracking systems to fix inconsistencies.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and palletizing of products.
• Carry out routine repairs to keep warehouse machinery operational.
• Provide basic facility upkeep: painting, lighting replacement, tool maintenance.
• Assemble fixtures, shelving units, and displays as needed.
• Maintain sanitary environment in restrooms, break areas, offices, and floors.
• Manage waste disposal, empty bins, operate compactors, and bale cardboard.
• Help preserve exterior grounds’ safety via pressure washing and debris removal.
• Review daily task lists to stay on top of maintenance and operational duties.
• Provide flexible support to other departments as necessary.
• Operate grit blasting equipment for smoothing and shaping of metal components when trained.

In this role, you will provide essential support for warehouse operations while performing general maintenance duties to keep the facility and its equipment in optimal, clean, and safe working condition.

Daily Operational Tasks:

• Organize and categorize inventory on shelves, racks, or bins by utilizing product codes, styles, colors, or sizes.
• Ensure storage zones remain tidy and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Help maintain accurate inventory levels by using digital tracking systems and performing regular stock audits to fix any inconsistencies.
• Support the team by handling the loading, unloading, and palletizing of products.
• Execute routine repairs to ensure warehouse machinery remains fully operational.
• Help maintain the facility by painting surfaces, replacing lighting, and keeping tools in good working order.
• Construct and assemble various fixtures, shelving units, and displays.
• Ensure a sanitary environment by cleaning restrooms, break areas, offices, and warehouse floors.
• Manage waste disposal by emptying bins, running compactors, and baling cardboard.
• Help preserve the exterior appearance and safety of the grounds through tasks like pressure washing, clearing debris, and inspecting the roof.
• Review daily task lists to stay on top of assigned maintenance and operational duties.
• Provide flexible support to other departments whenever necessary.
• Utilize in-house training to operate grit blasting equipment for the smoothing and shaping of metal components and castings.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and dependable personal transportation.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
