Job summary

Rise Baking Company is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Worcester, MA. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs in and around company facilities. Responsibilities include identifying maintenance needs, performing routine maintenance, and supporting contractors on-site. Overview

Job Purpose: Performs preventative maintenance and repairs in/around facility.

Responsibilities

• Identify building maintenance needs and immediate corrective actions required.
• Replace/repair building finishes with tasks including but not limited to painting, concrete work, door hardware, and piping.
• Support and/or direct onsite service contractors and vendors.
• Apply knowledge of preventative maintenance measures to maintain the facility as a safe and functioning environment.
• Perform routine and non-routine preventative maintenance in and around all company facilities and equipment.
• Adhere to safe work practices and all safety standards/guidelines.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability on weekends is required.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred Skills

• Proficient with tools and equipment used in building/custodial maintenance, reconstruction, and repair work.
• Previous experience as a facilities maintenance technician in a manufacturing or construction setting.

Compensation and Eligibility

Residents of California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington, and New York are eligible for this role. The hourly range is $19.46 to $29.19 per hour. Pay is based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other factors. Rise Baking Company complies with all applicable minimum wage laws. In addition to hourly wages, Rise Baking Company offers benefits, quarterly bonus eligibility, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contributions (eligibility requirements apply).

Mon–Sat, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.
