Job summary

Rise Baking Company is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Worcester, MA. This role involves performing preventative maintenance and repairs in and around company facilities. Responsibilities include identifying maintenance needs, performing routine maintenance, and supporting contractors on-site. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a valid Driver's License, and experience in maintenance roles. The hourly wage ranges from $19.46 to $29.19, and the position includes various benefits and 401k contributions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify maintenance needs and take corrective actions.
• Repair and replace building finishes such as painting and piping.
• Support onsite service contractors and vendors.
• Apply preventative maintenance knowledge.
• Perform routine maintenance across facilities.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Work both independently and in teams.
• Availability for weekend work is necessary.

Job Purpose

Essential Functions

• Ability to identify building maintenance needs and immediate corrective actions needed.
• Replace/ repair building finish with tasks to include but not limited to painting, concrete work, door hardware, and piping.
• Support/ direct onsite service contractors and vendors.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance measures to maintain the facility a safe and functioning environment.
• Perform routine/ non-routine preventative maintenance in and around all company facilities/ equipment.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and must adhere to all safety standards/ guidelines.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be available on weekends.
• All other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Competencies)

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

Preferred Skills

• Proficient with tools/ equipment used in building/ custodial maintenance, reconstruction, and repair work.
• Previous experience as a facilities maintenance technician in a manufacturing or construction setting
  
  

California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington, and New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $19.46 to $29.19 per hour. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
