Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our Regional Headquarters and surrounding branches. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, monitor vendors, and coordinate shipments while ensuring safety and appearance of facilities.

With 4–6 years in maintenance, OSHA knowledge, and a flexible schedule, you will troubleshoot issues, manage vendors, and help keep our spaces secure and well‑functioning.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of building maintenance, construction, facilities maintenance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to urgent facility needs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working with vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, painting, structural repairs, and grounds maintenance.
• Monitoring services provided by vendors (housekeeping, landscaping, security, pest control, HVAC contractors).
• Coordinating shipments and deliveries and assisting with transportation of company vehicles for repairs.
• Setting up meeting rooms and event spaces to meet business needs and maintaining inventory levels.
• Responding to facility issues and emergencies in a timely manner.

What You’ll Do

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities by:

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, including:
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Painting
  • Structural repairs
  • Grounds maintenance
• Monitoring services provided by vendors, including housekeeping, landscaping, security, pest control, and HVAC contractors.
• Coordinating and assisting with incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries.
• Supporting building security operations, including ID badge creation and access control management.
• Setting up meeting rooms and event spaces to meet business needs.
• Maintaining inventory levels and stock reports.
• Assisting with unloading deliveries and maintaining clean, safe grounds.
• Obtaining maintenance supplies from local vendors as needed.
• Coordinating transportation of company vehicles for repairs and maintenance.
• Responding to facility issues and emergencies in a timely manner.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4-6 years of building maintenance, construction, facilities maintenance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to urgent facility needs.
• Technical training or certifications in:
  • HVAC
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
• Experience working with vendors and contractors.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
