Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our Regional Headquarters and nearby branches. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, plumbing, painting, and structural systems to keep facilities safe and functional.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4-6 years of building/facilities maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Certification or training in HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Experience coordinating with vendors/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on buildings and systems (electric, plumbing, painting, structural repairs, grounds).
• Monitor and coordinate services by vendors (housekeeping, landscaping, security, pest control, HVAC).
• Coordinate and assist with shipments and deliveries.
• Support security operations (ID badge creation, access control).
• Set up meeting rooms and event spaces as needed.
• Maintain inventory and stock reports.
• Assist with unloading deliveries; ensure clean, safe grounds.
• Arrange transportation of company vehicles for repairs.

What You'll Do

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of our facilities by:

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, including:
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
  • Painting
  • Structural repairs
  • Grounds maintenance
• Monitoring services provided by vendors, including housekeeping, landscaping, security, pest control, and HVAC contractors.
• Coordinating and assisting with incoming and outgoing shipments and deliveries.
• Supporting building security operations, including ID badge creation and access control management.
• Setting up meeting rooms and event spaces to meet business needs.
• Maintaining inventory levels and stock reports.
• Assisting with unloading deliveries and maintaining clean, safe grounds.
• Obtaining maintenance supplies from local vendors as needed.
• Coordinating transportation of company vehicles for repairs and maintenance.
• Responding to facility issues and emergencies in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4-6 years of building maintenance, construction, facilities maintenance, or related experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and respond to urgent facility needs.
• Technical training or certifications in:
  • HVAC
  • Electrical
  • Plumbing
• Experience working with vendors and contractors.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
