Qualifications

• 3–5 years of warehouse/handyman or facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts and order pickers, including working at heights up to 30 ft with a safety harness.
• Ability to stand/walk for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong mechanical problem-solving skills and familiarity with a wide range of power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move ground-level materials.
• Drive order pickers for high-level inventory selection, conduct stock audits, and access elevated maintenance areas.
• Repair storage racks, adjust safety netting, and fix dock doors, seals, and heavy fixtures.
• Replace high-bay lighting and inspect top-level racking with fall-protection gear.
• Perform general facility repairs such as painting, drywall patching, minor plumbing, carpentry, and equipment assembly.
• Conduct safety inspections of floors, racking, and emergency exits to meet OSHA standards.

Join Our Team as a Senior Warehouse Associate in Facilities Maintenance and Forklift Operations

• Support the seamless flow of warehouse activities by balancing intensive material handling duties with essential facility upkeep.
• Contribute to overall facility efficiency and site safety by collaborating directly with the maintenance and operations departments.

Core Responsibilities

• Utilize sit-down forklifts to manage ground-level staging, loading, and the transport of heavy materials.
• Drive order pickers to facilitate high-level inventory selection, conduct stock audits, and reach elevated maintenance areas.
• Maintain structural integrity by repairing storage racks, adjusting safety netting, and fixing dock doors, seals, and various heavy fixtures.
• Ensure optimal visibility and safety by replacing high-bay lighting and inspecting top-level racking while utilizing fall-protection gear.
• Execute general facility repairs, such as painting, drywall patching, minor plumbing, basic carpentry, and equipment assembly.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by performing consistent safety inspections of the floor, racking, and emergency exits to ensure OSHA standards are met.

Required Qualifications

• Possess three to five years of background in warehouse settings, specifically involving handyman or facilities maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate expertise in operating sit-down forklifts and order pickers, including the ability to work at heights of 30 feet while wearing safety harnesses.
• Maintain the physical capacity to stand or walk for extended shifts and lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
• Showcase strong mechanical problem-solving abilities and comfort using a wide range of power and hand tools.

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00.
