Job summary

Gregor Industries Inc. is seeking a self-starter to join our facilities management team. The role requires travel to multiple job sites across five boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey, and may include nights and weekends.

The candidate should have working knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical, with the ability to manage work orders and inspect site conditions. A company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of trades: carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
• Ability to complete work order tasks in an organized and timely manner.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends and travel to multiple job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect work performed by external contractors to ensure code compliance and safety.
• Maintain inventory of lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and related supplies and tools.
• Proactively inspect grounds and building appearance and condition.

• THIS POSITION REQUIRES NIGHTS AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY
• JOB LOCATIONS: Travel to various job sites, 5 Boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey

• Looking for a self-starter to help our facilities management team.
• Needs to have a working knowledge of all trades to include: carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
• Perform duties within the required time frame as directed by the Lead or Chief Facilities Maintenance Technician.
• Must be able to complete work order tasks from clients in an organized and timely manner.
• Needs to be well spoken and continue our relationships with our client base.
• Must maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.
• Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory of lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and other building related supplies and tools.
• Proactively inspect grounds and building appearance and condition.
• Supplied Company Vehicle
• Mobile FMT responsible to schedule maintenance to company vehicle i.e., oil changes, alignment, etc.
• Follow all state traffic laws while in company vehicle.
• Maintaining a clean appearance inside and out of the vehicle.
• Vehicle not to be used for personal use.
• Keep vehicle locked when not in use.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
