Gregor Industries, Inc. is seeking a self-motivated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team across the Rochester/Buffalo/Syracuse area.

This role requires nights and weekend availability, and entails traveling to multiple job sites while overseeing outside contractors to ensure code compliance and safety. The ideal candidate has working knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC and electrical, plus a valid driver’s license and OSHA 40 certification.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience of 3+ years preferred.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect work by outside contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory of lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and other building supplies and tools.
• Proactively inspect grounds and building appearance and condition.
• Maintain a SAFE and clean jobsite.
• Complete work orders from clients in an organized and timely manner.
• Travel to various job sites across Rochester/Buffalo/Syracuse area; nights and weekends required.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES NIGHTS AND WEEKEND AVAILABILITY

JOB LOCATIONS: Travel to various job sites in the Rochester/Buffalo/Syracuse Area

Looking for a self-starter to help our facilities management team.

Needs to have a working knowledge of all trades to include:

Carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.

Perform duties within the required time frame as directed by the Lead or Chief Facilities Maintenance Technician.

Must be able to complete work order tasks from clients in an organized and timely manner.

Needs to be well spoken and continue our relationships with our client base.

Must maintain a neat, professional appearance at all times.

Oversee and inspect work performed by outside contractors in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Maintain inventory of lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and other building related supplies and tools.

Proactively inspect grounds and building appearance and condition.
