Job summary

The Budd Group is seeking a versatile Facilities MAC Technician & Shuttle Driver in Portland, ME. This role supports corporate campus operations with office moves, furniture repairs, basic IT setup, event coordination, and transportation using company vehicles.

Day shift, Monday–Friday, with pay of $20.00–$25.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits. Requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check, and the stamina to lift and move heavy items.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Hands-on ability with basic hand/power tools for furniture and IT equipment.
• Strong customer-service mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Move and configure office furniture and IT peripherals to support relocations.
• Assemble and repair desks, seating, and ergonomic accessories.
• Conduct building audits to identify hazards and wear.
• Set up and break down event spaces for internal meetings and large events.
• Safely transport passengers and materials using company shuttle vans or box trucks.
• Maintain vehicle logs and coordinate routine fleet maintenance.
• Track inventory of furniture in warehouse and flag damages.
