Job summary

UNACEM North America is seeking a Facilities and Workplace Services Lead to coordinate maintenance, hospitality, vendor management, and light fleet administration across multiple sites. The role ensures safe, functional offices and aligns with UNA Culture.

You will work with HR, Safety, Procurement, Finance, IT, and Operations to deliver service excellence, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement across locations in Scottsdale and nearby sites.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Hospitality Management, Project Coordination or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in facilities coordination, workplace services, hospitality operations, vendor management, fleet administration, or related operational roles.
  • Experience supporting multiple locations and coordinating facility improvement projects preferred.
  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial, mining, construction materials, or multi-site environments preferred.
  • Full proficiency in English required. Spanish is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate facilities services including maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, workplace upkeep, and administrative space functionality.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service agreements, contractor performance, and workplace service providers.
  • Coordinate workplace improvement projects including remodeling, furniture installations, office upgrades, and facility enhancements.
  • Support workplace appearance standards and maintain a consistent UNACEM NA look and feel across administrative locations.
  • Supervise hospitality and reception support activities including visitor management, meeting readiness, office services, and employee support.
  • Administer company light fleet activities including maintenance scheduling, registrations, insurance tracking, vehicle records, and utilization monitoring.
  • Coordinate facility logistics including office setups, workspace moves, supplies, storage, and employee common areas.
  • Partner with HR, Safety, Procurement, Finance, IT, Operations, and site leadership to support workplace functionality and service excellence.
  • Monitor costs, project timelines, vendor performance, and workplace service quality while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Role Summary

Leads the coordination and operational execution of facilities services, workplace standards, hospitality services, vendor management, light fleet administration, and workplace improvement projects across UNACEM North America. Ensures corporate offices and plant administrative facilities remain safe, functional, professional, and aligned with UNACEM NA workplace standards and UNA Culture. Supports employee experience, visitor experience, operational continuity, and workplace efficiency through disciplined service delivery and vendor coordination.

Direct Reports: Hospitality Representative(s), Reception/Front Desk Support, or other assigned workplace service personnel

Purpose

Ensure reliable, safe, professional, and cost-effective execution of facilities services, workplace projects, hospitality support, vendor management, and light fleet administration while supporting operational continuity, employee experience, workplace standards, and safety culture across UNACEM North America locations.

  • Coordinates corrective actions and escalates significant safety, cost, schedule, or service-related issues when appropriate.

  • Works closely with HR, Safety, Procurement, Finance, IT, and Operations teams.
