Job summary

The Springs of Harrison is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead and manage all general maintenance for the facility, with a focus on Life Safety program requirements and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The role oversees daily upkeep, repairs to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances, room readiness for new occupants, inspections, record-keeping, budgeting, and coordinating with leadership. On-call for emergencies ensures operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance work: replacing light bulbs, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs.
• Prepares resident rooms for new occupants by painting, cleaning carpets and general maintenance.
• Conducts daily inspections of the building exterior and ground equipment.
• Maintains accurate maintenance records of work, inventory and purchasing; manages expenses and may purchase supplies with approval.
• Recommends major item replacements and long/short term maintenance needs.
• Maintains and implements preventative maintenance program.
• Obtains bids for capital projects.
• Transports residents to appointments when needed using community vehicle.
• On-call availability for facility emergencies.
