The Springs of Harrison is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the general maintenance of our facility, ensure life safety program compliance, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to uphold a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

You will oversee daily repairs, preventive maintenance, budgeting, bid processes, and on-call emergencies, with hands-on responsibilities and inventory management.

Responsabilidades

• Performs general maintenance daily including replacing light bulbs, repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Prepares resident rooms for new occupants by painting, cleaning carpets and general maintenance.
• Conducts daily inspections of the building exterior and ground equipment.
• Keeps accurate maintenance records of work, inventory and purchasing; manages expenses with approval.
• Recommends replacement of major items and long/short-term maintenance needs.
• Maintains, plans and implements preventative maintenance program.
• Obtains bids for capital projects.
• Transports residents to and from appointments using the community vehicle when needed.
• Must be available to be on call for facility emergencies.

The Springs of Harrison is looking to add to their team! We are currently seeking resumes for Maintenance Director. This individual will have a “can do” attitude with a desire to strive for excellence. The Maintenance Director plans, coordinates and manages all general maintenance of the facility, to include Life Safety program requirements and involvement in the interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance work daily, including replacing light bulbs, repairing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Prepares resident rooms for new occupants by painting, cleaning carpets and general maintenance.
• Conducts daily inspections of the building exterior and ground equipment.
• Keeps accurate maintenance records of work done, inventory and purchasing. Manages expenses through knowledge of budget. May purchase maintenance supplies, tools and appliances with Executive Director approval.
• Recommends replacement of major items (such as carpet, appliances, etc.) as well as long and short term maintenance needs.
• Maintains, plans and implements preventative maintenance program.
• Obtains bids for capital projects.
• Transports residents to and from appointments in the absence of the Recreation Manager or Van Driver, using the community vehicle.
• Must be available to be on call for facility emergencies.
