Job summary

The Terraces at Via Verde, part of Agemark Senior Living, seeks a Maintenance Director in San Dimas, CA to lead Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry teams while keeping the community safe, welcoming, and running smoothly.

You will oversee building systems, grounds, vehicles, and repairs; coordinate preventive maintenance; and ensure regulatory compliance and timely move-ins. This hands-on leader will manage vendors, inventory, and budgets with an emphasis on teamwork and EPIC ACTS values.

Qualifications

• Maintenance or facilities leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through.
• Hands-on leadership style with accountability and team spirit.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry team members.
• Oversee building systems, grounds, equipment, vehicles, and general repairs.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and respond to maintenance needs.
• Manage safety inspections, fire drills, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure apartments are ready for resident move-ins and coordinate timely turnarounds.
• Manage vendors, contractors, inventory, and maintenance budgets.
• Step in, troubleshoot, and find solutions when something needs attention.
