Job summary

Roseshire Gaming Parlor in Henrico, VA is seeking a Facilities Supervisor-Ex to lead the Facilities department, including Maintenance and Environmental Services. You will oversee staffing, vendor coordination, safety, and budgeting, reporting to the Facilities Director across multiple properties.

The role requires strong leadership, deep facilities knowledge, and experience directing a team in a high-volume hospitality setting. Salary is $52,000 per year, with on-site work at the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years of commercial, industrial, institutional, hospitality, or related facilities experience required.
• Previous supervisory or management experience with responsibility for directing team members required.
• Demonstrated experience with team member training, performance management, and disciplinary action processes.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directs and manages the day-to-day operations of the Facilities department at the assigned property, including Maintenance and Environmental Services (EVS), and serves as the primary property-level leader for the department.
• Directs the work of at least two full-time employees or their equivalent, including assigning, prioritizing, monitoring, and evaluating work to meet objectives.
• Plans staffing, schedules, work assignments, priorities, and resources based on property needs and priorities.
• Participates in recruitment, interviewing, selection, hiring, onboarding, training, development, coaching, performance management, and corrective action processes for Facilities team members.
• Provides recommendations regarding hiring, termination, promotion, advancement, performance, corrective action, and other employee decisions.
• Establishes and communicates departmental standards, procedures, performance expectations, and priorities and ensures team members are trained and accountable.
• Evaluates staffing levels, productivity, quality of work, service response, team member performance, and operating conditions; addresses deficiencies.
• Oversees Maintenance and EVS operations, preventive maintenance programs, work orders, inspections, repairs, and facility projects.
• Provides technical leadership and guidance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, controls, and kitchen equipment; coordinates resources accordingly.
• Coordinates and oversees contractors and service providers, including scope of work, scheduling, quality, and compliance.
• Monitors expenses and assists with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning for repairs and improvements.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, HazCom, safety requirements and maintains documentation.
