Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Facility Lead to oversee daily office operations, safety, and services at our Fort Worth site.

You will supervise Facilities staff, manage budgets and vendor relations, coordinate security and sustainability initiatives, and partner with HR, IT, and Finance to support a productive workplace.

This 100% onsite role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks and movements of office space.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, office operations, or related field.
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, facility projects, and workplace operations.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety, security, business continuity, and sustainability practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, or team coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related workplace management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring the office is properly equipped, maintained, and supports business objectives.
  • Lead and supervise local Facilities staff, including training, performance management, and employee development.
  • Manage facility budgets, invoices, purchase requests, financial reporting, and annual planning activities.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with landlords, property management, contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Maintain office services including reception, mail, records management, space utilization, and workplace systems.
  • Support office moves, renovations, furniture reconfigurations, and facility improvement projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies related to health, safety, security, business continuity, and sustainability.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding support, access management, visitor management, and emergency communications.
  • Maintain facility, lease, utilization, sustainability, and compliance records and reporting.
  • Partner with office leadership and cross-functional teams including HR, IT, Security, Finance, and HSE to support operational needs.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
  • 100% onsite role.
  • May require lifting up to 50 lbs., walking, bending, climbing stairs or ladders, and prolonged periods of sitting or computer use

Your impact

The Facility Lead oversees the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional workplace environment. This role is responsible for facility services, workplace operations, vendor and landlord relationships, budgeting and financial administration, health and safety, security, sustainability initiatives, office projects, and space management. The Facility Lead provides leadership and direct supervision to local Facilities staff while serving as a key partner to office leadership and corporate support teams.

Here’s what you'll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Professional facilities management, safety, or property management certification.
  • Experience in a corporate or multi-site office environment.

The base salary range for this position is $66,300.00 to $80,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
