Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one (1) year custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, train and review the work of staff responsible for cleaning and maintaining City buildings.
• Plan, direct, and participate in all custodial activities; strip, re-finish, wash, mop and sweep floors; wash windows and doors.
• Clean restrooms; replenish tissue, towels and soap; assist with setup and breakdown of events.
• Train staff in buffers, scrubbers and chemical cleaning agents; ensure safe work practices.
