Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems is a plus.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift or move heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Teamwork and ability to follow directions from supervisors.
• Respect for seniors and the community environment.
• Valid California driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Custodial work comprising about 80% of duties including cleaning and routine maintenance.
• 20% of time dedicated to grounds and landscaping tasks with the gardener.
• Coordinate with contracted vendors and support vehicle fleet upkeep.
• Assist program staff with client moves and other tasks as needed.
• Ensure safety and health regulations are followed.
