Job summary

Berman is seeking a part-time Janitorial Cleaner to maintain clean, sanitary facilities at assigned sites. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site with a small team.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, common areas, and maintaining hygiene standards while following safety procedures. English communication is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and proper chemical usage.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and fixtures.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout assigned areas.
• Dust and wipe surfaces such as desks, countertops, and windowsills.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Replenish restroom and breakroom supplies as needed.
• Clean and maintain common areas, including break rooms and kitchens.
• Follow all safety procedures, cleaning protocols, and company policies.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor in a timely manner.
