Job summary

ABM is seeking a Janitorial Project Manager in California to oversee day-to-day operations and administrative activities to ensure conformance to contract requirements. The JPM will also develop and implement cost control measures and level of service standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications/ contract requirements for assigned building.

Responsibilities include managing a team of 5 technicians, scheduling, QA inspections, and budget oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years management experience; janitorial background is a plus.
• Ability to adjust work schedules to support operations.
• Certifications in BOMI, IFMA, APWA or similar are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships with assigned account.
• Lead a team of professionals to implement process improvements.
• Promote a strong safety culture and safe work environment.
• Recruit, manage, and lead a team of technicians and planners.
• Oversee job scheduling to meet contractual service delivery.
• Perform quality assurance inspections to meet standards.
• Manage budgets and expenditures for assigned contracts.
• Oversee site-level operating procedures and documentation.
