Job summary

PRWT Services is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Worker to perform general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of our building under the Site Supervisor. The role includes groundskeeping, restrooms, common areas, and reporting repairs.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to lift 50–60 lbs, hold a valid driver's license, and be willing to work overtime including weekends and holidays. Prior maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Able to lift 50–60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Attend in-service training sessions, meetings, and out of town activities as required
• Promote a positive work environment by treating staff and visitors with courtesy and respect
• Maintain restrooms in a clean and sanitary condition, restock supplies as needed
• Maintain foyer and reception area in a clean and sanitary state
• Keep storage area clean, neat, and secure
• Report any necessary repairs
• Sweep or hose down parking lots, sidewalks, and walkways at least once per shift; keep walkways free of snow and ice
• Maintain grounds by raking leaves and mowing grass; care for shrubs and mulching
• Collect trash and dispose of it properly
• Clean windows, countertops, and light fixtures
• Clean floors, doors, and water fountains at least once per shift
• Clean door mats daily
• Remove trash and debris from grounds and parking areas daily
• Edge curbs and walkways at least weekly during growing season
• Replace light bulbs when necessary
• Other duties as assigned.
