Job summary

Furniture Enterprises of Alaska Inc is hiring for a full-time Janitorial role in Anchorage, Alaska. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with a bonus program and benefits including PTO, holiday pay, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k) match.

You will clean and disinfect interior areas, take out trash, monitor safety, assist with other duties, and shovel snow. Pre-employment drug testing and background checks apply. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing and background check.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow instructions.
• Physically capable of operating drivable floor cleaning equipment.
• Able to lift/push up to 50 pounds.
• Able to be on feet walking, bending, pushing/pulling, kneeling for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and disinfecting the interior of building areas, including restrooms.
• Pick up trash and debris.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Monitor for and report any unsafe conditions.
• Assist with other duties assigned.
• Snow shoveling.
