Advanced Building Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a motivated Janitor to join our team in the Seattle area. The role focuses on maintaining a clean, sanitary environment in commercial and medical settings, including routine cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.

You will help with room setups, supply stocking, and coordination with facility teams to ensure safety and cleanliness. The position requires reliable attendance, physical stamina, and ability to work day or evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Understanding of infection control practices and sanitary environments.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical stamina for lifting and standing during shifts.
• Ability to work day and evening shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting in common areas, waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Disinfect and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and elevator buttons.
• Empty and dispose of trash and medical waste as directed.
• Restock soap, towels, and toilet paper as needed.
• Monitor inventory and notify supervisor when supplies are low.
• Set up and clean meeting rooms and event spaces as required.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to address cleanliness and safety issues.
• Follow safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel.
