Job summary

Great Lakes Energy is seeking a Utility Service Worker to support inventory processes and facilities maintenance across service centers in western and northern Michigan. You will help organize, count, and stock materials while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will operate storage systems and machinery to move pallets, pull materials, and coordinate logistics, with a focus on accuracy, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and an unrestricted CDL Group A required.
• Experience with materials management and warehousing strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize interior and exterior spaces to keep facilities safe, clean, and compliant with regulations.
• Initiate requisitions and manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and spot checks.
• Load, unload and move pallets and equipment using various machinery.
• Organize material storage systems and coordinate logistics for field inventory and material movement.
• Tackle major projects and support loading/unloading and material handling across service centers.
