Job summary

Greenlight Pet ER, a growing group of 24/7 veterinary emergency hospitals, seeks a hands-on, highly organized facilities/maintenance coordinator for our Orlando-area locations. You’ll split time between Lake Nona and Ocoee with a 9 AM–5 PM schedule, reporting to the Hospital Manager.

Responsibilities include keeping facilities and equipment running, coordinating repairs, maintaining preventive calendars, organizing inventory, and providing clear reports on open issues and stock levels.

Responsibilities

• Inventory: organize storage, receive deliveries, rotate stock, manage counts.
• Assets & transfers: track equipment and coordinate inter-location transfers.
• Reporting: brief Hospital Manager on open issues, repairs, stock levels, maintenance.

Job description

Greenlight Pet ER is a growing group of 24/7 veterinary emergency hospitals. Behind every emergency we treat is a hospital that has to work perfectly: equipment running, shelves stocked, and a building that\'s safe and ready. We're looking for a hands-on, highly organized person to make sure that happens at our two Orlando-area hospitals.

What you\'ll do

• Facilities: Walk both hospitals regularly, spot building issues early (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, doors, lighting), and manage contractors and vendors from quote to completion.
• Maintenance: Keep medical and hospital equipment working. Coordinate repairs, follow up with vendors until issues are resolved, and run the preventive maintenance calendar for both hospitals.
• Inventory: Keep every storage area organized and stocked at the right levels, receive deliveries, rotate products, remove expired items, and support controlled substance counts and documentation.
• Assets and transfers: Maintain an up-to-date record of all hospital equipment and coordinate the transfer of supplies and equipment between locations.
• Reporting: Give the Hospital Manager a clear picture of open issues, pending repairs, stock levels and upcoming maintenance.

Schedule and location

You\'ll split your week between our Lake Nona and Ocoee hospitals on an alternating rotation: 3 days in Ocoee and 2 in Lake Nona one week, then 3 in Lake Nona and 2 in Ocoee the next. Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. You\'ll report directly to the Hospital Manager.

What we\'re looking for

Veterinary experience is a plus but not required. Strong candidates may come from hospitals, facilities, maintenance, warehouse, inventory, medical supply, pharmacy, hospitality or operations backgrounds.

Pay: $20-24 per hour, based on experience.
