Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking an experienced technician to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on instrumentation and controls across our facilities. You will collaborate with I&C and Facility Operations to upgrade systems and implement new control schemes.

Responsibilities include PLC programming, fault troubleshooting, transmitter calibration, and document control; candidates should have strong electrical knowledge and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a demanding

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of related industry experience.
Experience troubleshooting electrical controls and instrument calibrations.
Able to work with minimal supervision and direction.
General knowledge of low voltage and maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot programming and system faults for plant FMCS equipment; modify programs to improve sequencing and alarms.
Perform calibrations of Flow, Level, Temperature, Pressure, and Humidity Transmitters.
Work with Facilities Operations and I&C Engineers to fix deficiencies across sites.
Perform PID loop tuning and adjustments.
Read blueprints and electrical control panel schematics.
