Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an industrial technician to collaborate with engineers on Ignition development and to assist with troubleshooting facility equipment. The role includes diagnosing PLC-related issues, networking basics, and performing routine calibrations with meticulous documentation.

Ideal candidates will have familiarity with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, be detail- and safety-oriented, and able to work in clean rooms and non-climate-controlled environments while complying with fall

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
• Must be detail and safety oriented.
• Ability to occasionally lift 50lbs.
• Ability to work in clean rooms.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Ability to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists, including standing or walking over hard concrete surface and climbing ladders.
• Ability to wear fall protection if required.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineers on Ignition development.
• Assist with troubleshooting various facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot local ethernet networks, understand subnetting.
• Follow standard practices as well as specific procedures.
• Complete routine calibrations on time and document results.
