Job summary
Brady Services is seeking a Facilities Tech to maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across central and eastern North Carolina. The role emphasizes safety, coordination with subcontractors, and adherence to life-safety standards.
Qualified candidates will have an AA/AS in HVAC or related field and 3+ years of industrial HVAC experience, including familiarity with Trane/Tracer systems. A valid driver's license and US work eligibility are required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in HVAC or related field.
- 3+ years of operation and maintenance experience in industrial HVAC; Trane/Tracer preferred.
- 3+ years of technical/leadership experience in operation, maintenance and repair of facilities systems.
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Apple iOS.
- Proficiency with maintenance tools and system renderings.
- Must pass drug screening and be eligible to work in the US; valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and perform preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance on building systems.
- Repair or replace motors, controls, lamps, and electrical components.
- Replace pumps and repair plumbing leaks; maintain fixtures.
- Coordinate NFPA inspections and life safety systems.
- Oversee subcontractors and document discrepancies.
- Work overtime and be on-call as required.
