Job summary

Hard Rock International is seeking an HVAC Technician II for a full-time on-site role at Seminole Coconut Creek. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all HVAC equipment to maintain air quality and system performance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or technical certificate, 3–5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience, and EPA Universal certification. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics, plans and diagrams.

To see our fill list of Team Member Benefits please visit our career site: www.gotoworkhappy.com/benefits **Job Description:**Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor the incumbent adjustments, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains all HVAC equipment and systems. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.* Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.* Conducts walk-through inspections; of all HVAC equipment to insure proper operation.* Maintains quality of air, air flow and temperature at on and off-site facilities; adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through system.* Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.* Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.* Knowledge of Seminole Coconut Creek Casino’s policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately.* Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.* Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.* Performs all other related and compatible/non-compatible duties as assigned.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. **EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**: High school diploma or technical certificate as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years experience with commercial/industrial HVAC equipment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. **PHYSICAL DEMANDS****:** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Prolonged period of walking, reaching, climbing and moving/carrying weight of up to 100 lbs.
