Job summary

Mirasol Family Health Center in Hermiston, OR is seeking a Maintenance Technician. You’ll perform HVAC maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, and general building upkeep across clinic facilities to ensure safe, compliant operations. Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to safety are essential.

Qualified candidates have a year of building maintenance and a valid driver’s license. The role includes on-call schedules, janitorial duties, and collaboration with contractors and vendors to maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of building maintenance experience.
• First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
• Forklift operator licensing if procurement work.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Pre-employment physical assessment.
• Participation in Maintenance on-call schedule.
• Ability to read construction documents and As-Build/O&M manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC troubleshooting and general maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Carpentry, plumbing, light electrical, and light cement masonry per safety standards.
• Landscape and maintain grounds and common areas; remove snow/ice.
• Dispose of medical waste and hazardous materials.
• Assist in construction projects and coordinate vendor access.
• Manage building security and vendor maintenance for HVAC, electrical, and other systems.
• Maintain company vehicles and document safety inspections.
• Ensure facilities are clean and maintained per guidelines.
• Perform daily janitorial duties and respond to urgent needs.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
