Job summary

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing floors, fixtures, and surfaces; replacing light bulbs, laundry duties, waste handling, and following supervisor cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year’s work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of general housekeeping/cleaning duties to maintain the center in a sanitary, safe, attractive, and orderly condition.
• Receives assignments from supervisor and follows cleaning schedules as outlined for housekeeping department.
• Cleans, dusts, washes, and disinfects fixtures, floors, walls, doors, and ceilings; maintains cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Changes light bulbs, cleans lint from dryers, vents and registers; ensures outside areas are clean and usable; washes windows and screens as assigned.
