Job summary

Cobalt East Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain our facilities and create a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

You will perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, irrigation care, debris removal, and keeping parking areas safe. Requirements: high school diploma or equivalent, prior groundskeeping experience, knowledge of landscaping equipment, ability to lift heavy objects, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous Groundskeeper experience preferred.
• Knowledge of landscaping equipment and maintenance techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of grounds, including mowing, trimming, and edging.
• Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in an environmentally responsible manner.
• Monitor and address pest or weed issues that may arise.
• Assist in seasonal projects such as planting and fertilizing.
• Ensure all grounds are clean and well-maintained at all times.
