Job summary

Bruckner Truck & Equipment is seeking a yard/maintenance helper to keep the building, grounds, benches, tools, and equipment clean and orderly. You will also help with salvage yard upkeep and routine equipment cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities include operating company vehicles with a valid driver’s license, occasional parts pickup, and customer transport. A high school diploma is preferred, and the role requires safe work practices and cooperative teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required: At least a minimum 9th grade education.
• Must have had some experience in the trade and able to know the proper products and tools required.
• Must be able to take instructions and interact cooperatively with supervisors.
• Position requires interaction with others and the ability to move easily from one task to another.
• Due to the urgency of the various job tasks there will be some level of stress.

Responsibilities

• Must keep the building, workbenches, Company tools, and equipment clean and orderly.
• Must keep the grounds cleaned from all trash and loose items.
• Must help in keeping the salvage yard cleaned up and orderly.
• Must help in ordering, cleaning equipment as needed.
• Must have a driver’s license in order to operate the Company vehicles.
• Will be required at times to pick up parts and take customers around town.
• Must be able to perform all these duties in a safe manner.
• Ability to follow Bruckner policy and procedures implied and expressed.
• Work with a minimum of supervision.
