Job summary

Ojai Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to uphold grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, compliant manner. You will follow maintenance schedules, report incidents, and coordinate with nursing staff to support resident care.

The role requires basic math, the ability to take direction, and strong interpersonal skills to interact with residents and staff. Physical tasks include lifting up to 25 pounds and completing routine upkeep as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with residents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate maintenance services with nursing staff.
• Perform routine maintenance on facility systems and lighting.
• Assist with safety and cleanliness of resident areas.
