Job summary

Clackamas County Children's Commission, Inc. is seeking a Landscaping - Facilities Maintenance Worker to support the Facilities group responsible for grounds and playgrounds at 12 sites across Clackamas County.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or ability to obtain within 18 months.
• Competent in use of basic landscaping, construction and maintenance tools.
• Minimum one year of landscaping and/or handyperson experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping duties at multiple centers including mowing, planting, irrigation maintenance, and playground upkeep.
• Maintain facilities and equipment per schedule.
• Complete internal work orders and communicate status through completion.
• Collaborate with staff, vendors and contractors on facilities projects.
• Lead projects with vendors as directed by Facilities Manager.
• Perform minor repairs (framing, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical) as needed.
• Move furniture between centers to support staff changes and remodels.
