Job summary

Lifeworks is seeking a Maintenance Staff to repair, renovate and maintain Lifeworks programs and properties, and to handle landscaping and lawn maintenance. This is a full-time role based in Westwood, MA, with on-site work and occasional on-call duties.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience in landscaping or carpentry, and the ability to pass background checks and hold a valid Massachusetts driver’s license. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in landscaping, carpentry, or home maintenance.
• Must pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks; valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and repair needs of Lifeworks residences and programs.
• Perform maintenance, repair and renovation functions including carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing.
• Carry out lawn maintenance and landscaping, including mowing, trimming and seasonal cleanup; plow snow as needed.
• Maintain communication with Lifeworks staff to resolve issues promptly.
• Provide emergency on-call coverage during absences of the Facilities Coordinator.
• Other duties as assigned.
