Utah Transit Authority is seeking a Grounds Maintenance worker to perform grounds upkeep and related duties across UTA properties. The role includes operating maintenance equipment, janitorial tasks, and snow/ice removal as needed.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 18 or older, and have up to six months of facilities maintenance or landscaping experience. A valid Utah driver’s license and DOT medical card are required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Six months verifiable employment experience in facilities maintenance or landscaping, or six months training in facilities maintenance or landscaping.
• Six months in a position of trust, with reliable driving record.
• DOT Medical card acquisition and maintenance capability.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain grounds and perform related duties such as operating maintenance equipment and janitorial tasks as required at UTA properties.
• Snow and ice removal at UTA properties; basic sprinkler maintenance.
• Drive and operate UTA vehicles and tow trailers with equipment; perform light maintenance on snow removal and landscaping gear.
