Job summary

Utah Transit Authority is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Worker to perform grounds upkeep, operate maintenance equipment, and assist with janitorial tasks across UTA properties. Responsibilities include snow and ice removal, sprinkler maintenance, and other service labor tasks as assigned.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18, have 6 months of facilities maintenance or landscaping experience or training, and possess a valid Utah driver's license with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Six months in facilities maintenance or landscaping or six months training.
• Must pass required safety courses for Facilities Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform grounds maintenance and related tasks at UTA properties.
• Operate maintenance equipment and basic sprinkler maintenance.
• Snow and ice removal; janitorial duties as required at all UTA properties.
• Complete overtime or holiday shifts as needed.
