Job summary

Waste Pro, USA is seeking a maintenance worker in Sarasota, FL to perform general building maintenance and keep the facility, restrooms, storage areas, garages, and grounds clean. The role includes inspecting the property for repairs, removing hazards, and maintaining parking lots and landscaping, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and painting as needed.

The position requires the ability to perform labor, operate hand and power tools, and work well both in a team and independently.

Qualifications

Ability to perform labor work.
High School education/GED or equivalent preferred.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
Ability to follow directions and work as a team or independently.

Responsibilities

General building maintenance.
Maintain cleanliness of facility including restrooms, storage areas, garages and grounds.
Walk property to check for repairs.
Remove environmental hazards.
Maintain parking lot and safe outlying property.
Maintain ground foliage and landscaping tasks; mow grass, trim trees, weeds beds, edge borders, and gutters.
Paint specified areas as determined.
Attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
Keep up to date on current technology used by Waste Pro.
Any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor.
