Job summary

The position requires high school level education with at least 1 year of maintenance experience. You will perform routine upkeep, basic repairs, and assist with housekeeping as needed in a non-exempt, on-site role in Kokomo, Indiana.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent; basic maintenance experience accepted.
• Minimum of 1 year of maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine preventive maintenance to keep machines and buildings in good condition.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Inspects drives, motors, belts, fluids, and lubricates machinery.
• Perform electrical and plumbing tasks per regulations and guidelines.
• Dismantles devices to access defective parts with tools.
• Prepare for maintenance activities by gathering materials and setting up work areas.
• Perform general physical labor and housekeeping duties as needed.
• Assist families and visitors as required.
• Attend required meetings and in-services and report issues to maintenance director.
