Job summary

Chickasaw Nation is seeking a full-time Facility Improvement Worker to join the Tribal Properties Labor Unit 1 at the Evergreen Building. You will care for, maintain, and preserve facilities and grounds on tribally owned properties, ensuring safe and clean environments.

The role requires some manual work, adherence to schedules, and the ability to perform light construction and remodeling tasks as requested by customers. Training and standards compliance are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; willingness to learn and follow policies.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Able to work safely with tools and in a maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides first class customer service to internal and external customers with professionalism.
• Completes training and development requirements; participates in continuing education.
• Works collaboratively to support productivity and safety of the work area and team.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area and a safe environment.
• Maintains professionalism in all interactions.
• Punctual and adheres to start times and attendance metrics.
• Adheres to dress code standards.

• Performs light construction, grounds maintenance and remodeling of Tribal offices.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests including replacement and modifications of equipment as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned
