Town of Palm Beach Recreation Facilities Maintenance is seeking a capable worker to perform janitorial, maintenance, set-up/tear down, and repair tasks at the Recreation Center and Tennis Centers. This role involves significant public interaction and reports to the Recreation Facilities Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED or vocational school.
• Past maintenance/groundskeeping experience preferred.
• Available to work weekends and holidays on a variable schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and routine repairs, janitorial, facility, landscaping, and grounds-keeping duties.
• Assist with inventory of building supplies, equipment and materials.
• Assist with interior and exterior facility safety inspections and perform safety maintenance duties.
• Operate a variety of powered and non-powered tools and equipment.
• Maintain equipment in good working order and ensure proper storage.
