Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Auburn, ME hires a Maintenance Supervisor to assist the Director of Maintenance in upkeep of the property, including apartment and common areas, grounds, and budget management.

The role involves supervising staff and coordinating with contractors, ensuring code compliance, safety standards, and a safe working environment. Candidates should have 2+ years of maintenance experience and basic computer skills; fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of building/maintenance experience.
• Progressively responsible experience relating to building maintenance.
• Acceptable fluency in English to communicate with staff, residents and third parties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform refurbishments and repairs in apartments and common areas.
• Assist supervision of landscaping maintenance.
• Coordinate removal of garbage and trash for the property.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards and OSHA/EPA rules.
• Assist in preparation and maintenance of the Maintenance Department budget.
• Maintain inventory controls and tools.
• Ensure staff adhere to company uniform and grooming standards.
• Maintain relationships with contractors, vendors, residents and visitors.
• Promote safe working environment and prevent accidents.
• Attend required training and staff meetings.
• Support Director of Maintenance with capital bids and vendor coordination.
• Maintain office, shops, and mechanical areas to company standards.
