Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation is seeking a General Laborer to support maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings at the Guam site. The role involves physically demanding tasks and moving materials as part of daily operations.

Working in a non-exempt, labor-category role, you will follow safety procedures and contribute to keeping facilities clean and functional. A valid driver's license and potential background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Able to perform physically demanding tasks with minimal specialized skills.
• Manual labor or maintenance experience is a plus but not required.
• Understanding of safety procedures and OSHA compliance.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 Public Trust background check, if required.
• Must maintain access to the government worksite.
• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license to operate vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks and other vehicles.
• Moves supplies, equipment, and materials using hand trucks or wheelbarrows.
• Stacks and stores materials properly.
• Collects and disposes of refuse and recyclable materials.
• Digs, fills, and compacts soil for landscaping and repair work.
• Shovels concrete, sand, and debris as needed.
• Cleans drainage culverts and ditches.
• Cuts and clears brush and small trees.
• Moves and arranges heavy furniture, appliances, and office equipment.
• Assists in moving heavy machinery and equipment.
• Pick up leaves, trash, and other debris to maintain clean facilities.
• Ensure work areas are cleaned and restored after maintenance tasks are completed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
