Job summary

Cabot Corporation’s Midland, MI facility seeks a Facility General Manager to provide overall leadership for safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. You will steer long-term site direction, develop people, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing, quality, finance and community relations.

The role requires 7+ years of manufacturing leadership and a technical degree, with hands-on budgeting and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• 7+ years manufacturing experience with people/budget management.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe production meeting quality, quantity, reliability and service targets.
• Direct cross-functional site activities with Manufacturing, Sales, SH&E, Finance, Quality, HR and Community Affairs.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement to improve process capability and reduce variability.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective manufacturing performance for standard recipe products.
